Lauren Atkins

Lauren has been working in web-based media and development for eight years.  She studied film and video at the University of Michigan, focusing on optimizing video for the web, and graduated in 2006.  After several years of working as a freelance video editor, as well as at the Departments of Theatre and Musical Theatre at U-M, she became an instructional technologist for the College of LS&A, specializing in collaborative, online environments and web-based community engagement.  She helps faculty in a wide variety of disciplines plan, build, implement technology projects to support various learning goals.

In addition to that, Lauren’s interest in adapting technology to support any and all possible endeavors, she also does freelance technology consulting, WordPress development, contributes content to Learnist and is the Evernote Ambassador for Home Cooking.
